Editor's Note: Each quarter, on the Aptos blog, we highlight a few of the customer go-lives, renewals and selections that occurred during the previous quarter. Respecting our clients' confidentiality is extremely important to us. We've only named retailers that have publicly acknowledged their Aptos partnership.
WSS, a footwear, apparel and accessories retailer that is owned by Foot Locker, Inc., is rolling out Aptos ONE POS. According to Sarah Derba, Senior Director, Information Technology at WSS, the decision to move to Aptos' next-gen POS solution is a strategic initiative for the company.
Initial feedback from Sarah is that "Aptos ONE POS is extremely user-friendly. It combines advanced functionality with a clean UI and simplified workflows so associates can be trained on it quickly."
We hope to share a full update regarding WSS' rollout soon — including at NRF 2025!
Part of the Selfridges Group, Brown Thomas Arnotts encompasses two of Ireland's premier retailers — Brown Thomas and Arnotts. In Q3, we announced that Brown Thomas Arnotts is going to upgrade to the latest versions of Aptos' Sales Audit and CRM solutions.
According to Paul Baguley, Director of IT and Digital at Brown Thomas Arnotts:
"Sales Audit is key to our omnichannel agility, allowing us to quickly open up new sales channels, with data from those channels being seamlessly integrated into our existing financial and operational processes. And with Aptos CRM, we have a consolidated, multi-brand customer database that offers a comprehensive, 360-degree view of our customers as they move across our channels and brands."
Aptos Sales Audit and CRM will be delivered via SaaS, taking advantage of increased speed of deployment and access to ongoing innovations.
During NRF 2024, Cole Haan executives spoke about their adoption of Aptos ONE POS. In Q3, Cole Haan's Aptos ONE journey continued with the pilot of Aptos' Universal Promotions Manager. Built on the Aptos ONE platform, this unified promo tool allows retailers to configure all their campaigns and promotions for all channels through a single, centralized promotions engine.
Aptos is working hand in hand with Cole Haan on this pilot, collecting as much feedback as possible, and we look forward to sharing more details soon.
According to Nikki Baird, Aptos' Vice President, Strategy and Product:
"With Universal Promotions Manager, Aptos offers retailers a streamlined approach to promotions, leveraging APIs to extend promotion data quickly and securely to any of the retailer's applications or channels that require it.
This eliminates the risk of customers being given different totals for the exact same purchase across different selling channels. It's a better experience for the shopper — and a much more efficient way for retailers to manage promotions."
Back in 2017, Samsonite adopted Aptos OMS to enhance its omnichannel operations and improve order visibility, flexibility, profitability and speed. Seeing the benefits sister company TUMI was experiencing with the full Aptos tech stack, in recent years Samsonite has been adding more Aptos solutions and in more countries.
During Q3, Samsonite went live with Aptos' Merchandising, Sales Audit, CRM and POS solutions in Canada. Those same solutions are also running in the United States.
It's a great feeling to keep expanding our relationship with the world's best-known and largest travel luggage company.
Like Samsonite, New Balance is a retailer that is running multiple Aptos solutions. These solutions include POS, CRM, Merchandising, OMS, Sales Audit, Analytics and Aptos ONE.
We are always looking for more ways to support New Balance — in more regions around the world — and in Q3 that included New Balance deploying Aptos OMS in Australia.
New Balance was already running other Aptos solutions "Down Under," and now OMS is seamlessly integrated with those solutions to support omnichannel journeys.
Want to learn more about the global retailers that are running Aptos technology? Get in touch or schedule a time to meet with us at NRF 2025. We'd love to hear from you.
